Being well & living efficiently
Living Healthy through COVID-19
Living healthy during these unprecedented times means quick adaptation, implementation and diligence on a level we haven’t seen in recent history. Here at North Coast we took each of these categories with the utmost seriousness.
Adapting rapidly meant closing our offices to the public earlier than mandated, instating strict CDC guidelines, buying high tech sanitation equipment and making sure our staff had all the PPE they needed to stay safe.
Care and Concern
Augmented sick leave and benefits made sure our team members took precaution without punishment and multiple levels of support for our residents made sure our communities could remain stable during these challenging times.
Healthy Living in Unprecedented Times
It’s fair to say that 2020 has been a once in a lifetime adventure for the entirety of humanity. We’ve faced challenges and lifestyle adjustments that we never would have dreamed of, lived through civil unrest and watched the best of us shine through like beacons of hope.
Spending time in natural environments can benefit health and well-being, and luckily, here in Oregon City, we have plenty of places to explore.
Efficient living is a way of life
Here, efficient living is more than a buzzword. It’s a way of life, one that’s seamlessly integrated into our homes. Our energy upgrades can help you save up to 30% on your energy costs, but there’s more to it than simple saving. We want to help you get more out of less with short term leasing, shared transportation, and more.
Save Money on Utilities
By using higher efficiency appliances, fixtures, lighting systems, windows, and thermostats, to reduce resident power and water bills by as much as 35%.
Healthy and Safe Environments
By using non-toxic cleaning products and non-toxic lawn care supplies, our residents can feel confident that they are living in a clean and healthy community and that their family and pets are not exposed to harsh and harmful chemicals.
Improved Air Quality
According to the EPA, the air inside most buildings is ten times more polluted than the air outside. We are making the switch to low odor, non-toxic paints for interior painting, which means your apartment won't smell like a chemical factory when you move in and we can all feel better knowing we aren't polluting our planet with unnecessary toxins.
Feel Good and Help the Planet
GreenLiving Properties make it easy for you to do your part in helping to support products and practices that conserve natural resources. By saving energy and water, wasting less, and reducing your impact on the environment you are making a difference for you and your family and helping to do your part for the planet. Our property has partnered with FloWater, the World’s Best Refill Station, to transform ordinary tap water into purified drinking water, helping you to reduce the number of disposable plastic bottles that enter our landfills each year.
This includes the introduction of power saving technologies like high efficiency lighting, EnergyStar appliances, programmable thermostats, and motion sensors.
This includes comprehensive property water audits that find ways to reduce the amount of water used in units, in offices, and on the grounds.
This includes the introduction of recycling wherever possible, for residents, offices, and any onsite renovations or construction materials.
This includes the use of healthier and more environmentally sustainable products into renovations and maintenance work.
Indoor Air Quality
This includes the use of low-odor, low toxicity paints and non-toxic cleaning supplies. We also certify higher standard air filters for heating and air conditioning units.
This includes the use of healthier cleaning products and landscape chemicals, as well as incorporating water conservation strategies to make sure this precious resource isn't wasted.
